Bordshimmel is an architectural experiment that refines the space above and around the editorial table where the book on Thomas Tempte came to life.

Historically, the table canopy (Bordshimmel) was used to honour a bridal couple or a newly crowned monarch. Here, it is dedicated to the act of creative work.

The Bordshimmel acts as a crown, altering perception from the outside in and from the inside out, in a correlation between the subject beneath the canopy and the observer outside it.

The cord tensions a series of fractal-geometric repeating frames, where the structural principle operates both tectonically and ornamentally.
